The purpose of flashcards is rather simple and mundane; we use flashcards to introduce and review vocabulary or concepts. My first language teacher said, “The only way to learn a foreign language is repetition, repetition, repetition.” Can’t argue with that. Unfortunately, it can be really… repetitious and boring. But, if you watch children playing, they’ll show you how to make it fun.

I have a very strong reason why I should complete a TEFL Course. I am taking the 220 hours. Well, base on my plans I have the desire to be a tutor online. it's totally out of my line, I was once a registered nurse, I was a fashion designer and even studied Fashion Design at London and Singapore. I owned a wedding shop in the Philippines and catering to different clients worldwide. and fast forward I got married. But, since I tied the knot and settled here at California. everything has changed.

According to the Cambridge dictionary, motivation is the need or reason for doing something. Motivation is a way to get somebody to complete something that they might not aspire to execute on his or her own. Teachers have been using different forms of motivation in the classroom for years, which has been positive and negative. My parents used to tell me stories about their school time when the teachers would smack their hands with rulers if they didn’t do their homework. They would also use the same rulers to smack the students’ buttocks when they were misbehaving. When I was in school our motivation to perform satisfactorily in the class was to get decent grades.

The unofficial motto of the JET Programme is ‘every situation is different (ESID).’ This is completely true, and every JET’s day looks different depending on whether they work in a public or private school, whether they have co-JETs or are solo, their teaching partner’s style, and the school’s schedule. I teach in a private junior and senior high school in central Tokyo, where students are aged 12-18. The following is my own experience, but every ALT’s (assistant language teacher) experience on the JET Programme is vastly different.
In Tokyo, almost everyone commutes via train, and depending on where you live, your commute could take... [Read more]
⏩ TEFL Courses in Tashkent - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ Uzbekistan - Inclass Courses
Situated in the east of Uzbekistan, Tashkent is the country’s capital as well as its largest city. It is also the Central Asia region’s most populated city with a population of about two and a half million people. The city was made the capital of the country when Uzbekistan gained independence after the collapse of the USSR in 1991.
Tashkent is an incredibly interesting and ever-changing city where the long history and rich Uzbek culture can be seen in the city’s fascinating architecture, particularly the exhibition halls and metro stations. One of the most effective ways to experience the way of life in Tashkent is to pay a visit to one of the many local markets which serve as social centers for the local population.
Tashkent’s nightlife is ever developing and you can... [Read more]

Moving to one of the largest cities in the world is quite a daunting task, particularly when you have to find your own accommodation using another language.
On the JET Programme, ALTs (assistant language teachers) are, in every prefecture except Tokyo, provided with accommodation by the school and will likely inherit all of the necessary furniture and kitchen appliances that they need and only pay a small amount of rent.
In Tokyo, the freedom of choosing your own apartment is an exciting prospect. No hand-me-down furniture from 30 years ago, no scary, mouldy tatami mats to deal with, only pure freedom of choice. This means, however, that you have to tackle this task all by yourself,... [Read more]

“You speak too much in the class,” “you always finish their sentences,” “you answer back to the teens,” “the classroom is a mess,” “your lessons are boring.” That was the feedback I would usually get in college during my teaching practice. So the final questions were always the same, “When am I going to be a good teacher?” What does it take apart from reading the theory?” “Why am I failing?” In this essay, I will briefly describe some of my experiences when teaching and the struggles on the way. I will also mention the importance of applying specific methods and techniques, taking different roles and the relation between lesson planning and the material to be used in class.
