WOW! After having been in management all of my professional life, which included being a law firm administrator and paralegal, I had totally forgotten about all the parts of speech of my language. When I was at the law firm, I knew how to communicate, as well as write legal documents, well. But, now, after having taken this course, I am reminded of all the things I have forgotten while going to school. This has truly been an eye opening experience. I am very thankful that I took this course, as it will definitely help me when I tutor children, as well as teach adults!
As you know, I currently teach in South Korea, which puts a heavy emphasis on education, as well as learning english. If you are a native speaker, have a college and/or graduate degree, and have a tefl certificate, you are a hot commodity! Even though I'm not finished yet with this program, this tefl certificate is already opening doors. Future employers are already knocking on my door for September. So, in conclusion, I am very happy and blessed to have taken and completed this course. It has reminded me of how important it is to know my own native tongue, and be able to properly convey it to others!
