Overhead projectors can help during lessons because they focus attention and can be prepared in advance so they don't require the teacher to turn his/her back on the audience. Visual aids may be real objects or pictures that may be useful for learning new vocabulary and attracting interest and attention. Worksheets can be used for role-play activities or grammar exercises. CD players can be used to provide audio for listening exercises
