In unit 11 receptive skills and their importance are discussed. Reading and listening are receptive skills. This unit also discusses the different ways to employ these skills in everyday life and how they can be of use to the individual. I also learned about authentic text and non authentic text and how a teacher should go about using these two in the classroom.
