This unit was very interesting as it made aware of what respective skills were and how to take advantage of them in terms of learning. This unit also showed me how important it is to motivate and interest students and keep every lesson on a new topic that most students love to keep learning fun. The main thing i got from this unit is how to teach my students the conditionals and reported speech topic. The way of explanation was very simple and clear. The schedule of the verb tenses and how they will change after reporting was super helpful. Nowadays course books are very important. Almost every published course book has its pros and cons. Different teachers uses different approaches and of course different materials. In my opinion good teacher should try to follow the course book but modify or skip some activities and exercises. Good teacher is flexible and understands needs of his students.
