I learned that there are multiple english proficiency tests and assessments for different purposes. I have learned that in-class tests given students at multiple points throughout the course will provide a good means of observing the progression of students and modifying lessons accordingly. I enjoyed once again the many examples given to help direct teachers through planning tests. I thought teaching the names of the different proficiency tests was useless as I'm sure I won't run into any of those throughout my teaching career. It was an easy unit and I'm hoping to get more tangible knowledge out of the next few lessons.
