A teacher has to clearly explain new concepts to the students so that they understand what the lesson is about and also to eliminate confusion that can lead to students uninterested in the lesson and not participating. In a typical english lesson making use of gestures to aid the students to understand is vital. It is important to greet the students with a smile and introduce yourself to them and ask them for their names. It is inappropriate to establish what their names are during class lesson or when you want them to give you an answer. I feel as though the teacher in both lessons didnt establish from the students if they understand the work by double checking.
