I have learned a lot about grammar, its something that as a native english speaker I was never taught at school in any great detail, so it was good to learn basic grammar. I have learnt about the amount of preparation that is involved in putting together a relevant lesson for students, it has been a great help to form my own lesson plans. My next step is to get some practical training, which I would look to get some experience from a local college that teaches english, such as sitting in and observing a teacher's english language lesson. There is the option to continue my tefl training in another country although I am undecided on which country I would like to teach in. I feel once I start the practical side of things then I can really begin learning and understanding teaching.
