I have gained a greater understanding about what it means to be a teacher. Teaching is not just about relaying information to a classroom. It's about having fun, establishing a connection to your students as individuals and hopefully making a difference in their lives. Even if the students forget what they learned in a textbook, hopefully they will remember something else about their teaching that will help them throughout their lives. I plan to find a teaching job and hopefully have this kind of impact on people: changing their lives for the better, if only in a small way.
