I was surprised to find in this unit the great variety of learners and english classes. The recognition that there are beginners of various abilities and backgrounds seems useful to understand as it allows a teacher to be more responsive towards their class. In addition I noticed that many of the virtues of young learner classes apply to even business english classes. The teacher should not demand more from their students than the students can deliver. A teacher should find ways to garner as much participation as they can by structuring the class to be interesting
