what i have learnd from unit 14 coursebooks and lesson materials is that course books are very emotive for many teachers.some teachers swear by them as well as despise them. thanks to the materials of unit 14 for providing spacific information on the difference of authentic materials and created materials Unit 5 introduces teaching themes and describes how to incorporate them into business english lessons. One of the things I’ve learnt from this unit is the Speech Act Theory and how to put it into practice. There are three very detailed lesson plans and some examples showing usage of different methodologies available. In this unit I learned more about the different conditionals and the proper way to use them and teach them. I also learned more about reported speech and how the tenses change when you report what someone said indirectly. I will definitely use the different ways of teaching examples.
