The purpose of this unit was to give examples of different methods of identifying and conveying different language structures. It taught the basic differences between vocabulary and grammar and gave several examples on how to structure a lesson using ESA in order to teach either. It also shored up knowledge gained from previous lessons about the ESA structure and how to use different methods for different parts of the lesson. I can see where the course is now tying new information learned with previous information from already completed chapters in order to deepen understanding. For instance half the questions on this test were in regards to how to use ESA to teach vocabulary
