This unit would confuse many students. They would have to be very good in english to understand what we are trying to teach. I feel that keeping it simple in the teaching process gets better results than trying to teach students areas they have a hard time understanding. My approach to teaching would be keep it simple. This unit explores the many different ways in which classroom set up and speaking can effect student- teacher relations. It helps explain some of the reasons why rapport and good relations are important. Different set-u.s.of classrooms are explained with their pros and cons. teacher talking time is also explained with examination of pros and cons also being explored. It was a well structured unit that refreshed my memory about the Past tenses forms and usages. The examples for every usage of the Past tenses were very useful for assimilating the information. Also the sample Activate teaching ideas will be very useful and inspiring when I will have to teach the Past Tenses in the classroom.
