This course gave me professional outlook on the planning and organizing lessons and courses. I’ve been working as an english teacher for 3 years now and have acquired quite strong grammar skills but I really lacked professional understanding of how exactly I can plan the lesson effectively. Of course I always made some sort of a plan in my mind before the lesson, this plan sometimes was not consequent and connected. ESA lesson organization will definitely improve my teaching experience and hopefully my students’ results and motivation. It is not complicated to put these skills into action because they are not connected with teacher-student interaction, but with my preparation for the lessons. Actually, I’ve already started to apply ESA approach with my individual students and I can say that it makes difference. Lessons are becoming more interesting and effective. As to classroom management, young learners and some certain skills like pronunciation teaching, the course provided me with wider outlook on these items and lots of teaching ideas. Not having an opportunity to practice them at the moment I can’t really say if I’ve grasped this knowledge or not, but the course book is with me and, given a chance I will try to use these skills. To sum up, I’ve gained more professional approach to teaching in common and how to make lessons more effective, interesting and motivational.
