I had the opportunity to review some grammar rules that I have not reviewed in a long time. These grammar rules will definitely be well-used when I go about teaching as well as I continue to write emails, essays, or any articles of communication. As well, the teaching aspects of the course were extremely helpful - especially when the unit worksheets required me to come up with example activities to conduct in the classroom. I have been pushed to be creative while still maintaining a specific objective. The skills that I have learned have improved my leadership and teaching skills regardless of the subject matter. What is most immediate, however, is the youth group that I volunteer with on a weekly basis. Already, I have noticed a change in the way I teach and the way the teens interact with me.
