The most crucial and useful thing I have learned from this course is how to structure a lesson. Having been a student for the majority of my life, especially a language student, I have been exposed to this type of lesson structure, but it was very helpful and informative to learn about it in detail. I will absolutely use the ESA structure and my knowledge of how to write a lesson plan in my future teaching endeavors. All of the example activities and ideas for activities will help me immensely as a teacher. Reading the units and seeing these ideas helped me recall my previous language classes, and I was able to remember what activities benefited my classmates and me so that I may be able to use them in the future. I have a great passion for languages, so I greatly enjoyed learning and reviewing all about the english language. I am very excited to share my passion with my future students. I feel that my knowledge and understanding of the language will help me explain and teach english to people. Overall, I feel extremely prepared to walk into a classroom and teach english to students. Without this course, I would have no idea how to manage a classroom, work with different types of students, create lesson plans, and use materials other than a course book.
