This unit was great in that we got to watch a lesson. I felt the first lesson was a little over the top. It made sense to show us that a bad attitude from the teacher can make the class bad and difficult for the students as well. It was hard to watch how unhelpful the teacher was during the first lesson. He gave no help or compassion to the students. I think it would have been nice to see a lesson with more subtle mistakes to see that you can have a good lesson and things go wrong or something of that nature. The second lesson was obviously better and more fun to watch. It was great to see how easy you can engage a group of people in learning and make it exciting for them. The tie in to the verb usage was really good. There was learning going on but it didn't feel difficult at all even though it was new. At some points I think the teacher could have described some of the actions more so there was less confusion but the lesson was well planned out and the students got it.
