In this lesson we learned about the productive skills of writing and speaking. We learned about the problems that are likely to occur when teaching speaking and writing skills to non-english speakers. We learned about the importance of the study phase of the lesson in which we focus on accuracy and the activate phase where we focus on fluency. We also learned about some games to use to teach productive skills as well as encourage fluency.
