From this unit I learnt a lot about how an ESOL teacher should set up their class and the factors that should be kept in mind to create a safe and effective learning environment for students. I learnt the importance of establishing a good rapport and class spirit. I also learnt about the different ways classroom furniture can be set up and the affect these set u.s.can have on a classroom. All of this builds on my knowledge from being a primary school teacher.
