This was an introductory unit to the course. I learned about what topics will be covered in each unit. I learned about how the course will work and the objectives of the course. The target group for this course is young learners. young learners are learners ages 5-13. I learned about the different acronyms used to refer to different types of english Language learning programs. I learned that young learners may need to be taught with different methodology because the learning process for a second language is different than when they learned their native language. I learned about the different employment opportunities I will have after completing this course. I learned that I can likely live comfortably abroad and that the ideal number of hours to work a week is 25.
