Aloud vs Allowed - English Grammar - Teaching Tips

In this video Linda breaks down the difference between ?aloud? and ?allowed?.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit covered the topic of productive skills. These skills are speaking and writing. Speaking English correctly and fluently is the ultimate goal of the students, and both accuracy and fluency are important. One cannot be taught exclusively. Writing can be a more difficult task, for some languages had completly different writing structures and letters. This unit brings me back to those English lessons during primary and secondary. The structure of this unit is simple and concise, which can be easily understood by students. The description and examples given in each type of grammar is clear, while the structure of training task sheet and test questions were well designed to fit the purpose of this module.
