Evaluation and Testing of Students - Business English Exams

This video is part of our video series on "Evaluation and Testing of Students". In this video, we look at some of the most common business English exams people take around the world. Many EFL teachers around the world need to prepare their students for these international proficiency tests.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

Similarly to other grammar units, this unit was really helpful in that it helped me understand more clearly the grammatical mechanisms at work behind the language I speak naturally. Now I can more definitively identify the parts of my sentences and organize my speech into comprehensive grammatical parts, which, of course, is crucial to teaching English. This lesson covered various teaching techniques and the Engage, Study, Activate teaching theology. It covered how lessons should be structured in order to maximize student understanding as well as student speaking time. I learned a lot about lesson planning as well as the difference between a mistake, and an error, and how/when they should be corrected.
