Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. In this unit, we are given 2 videos with the same lesson to compare. One is taught the right way by using the techniques and methods from previous units to show how and why they are used, and the other is taught the wrong way. I like that this unit contains actual videos rather than just an explanation, because this way I get to see exactly how it’s done.In this unit I have learned what it means to be a teacher and what it means to be a learner. I found this very helpful because it is important to view the process from both ends. I have a better understanding of what to expect from learners with varying language levels and age. I also learned how to create motivation and why a learner may be motivated to learn
