TEFL Review from Rodney

This TEFL review is from Rodney. He is originally from Jamaica but currently living and working in Japan. He recently completed our 120-hour TEFL/TESOL course online and had a great experience. He realized the importance of an internationally recognized TEFL/TESOL certification and decided to go for it. After completing the course, he received a range of new opportunities, especially in teaching English online. He cannot recommend this course enough to anyone who is interested in teaching English.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

Unit 18 discusses modals, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. I had not formally learned about phrasal verbs prior to reading this unit. It was interesting to learn about how some phrasal verbs can be separated and their meaning remains the same, whereas other phrasal verbs cannot be separated, because in doing so the sentence would no longer make sense.Unit six discussed the forms and usage of the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. It’s to the point and would require much practice for mastery. The discussion of usage allows a reader to learn the order of past actions in any sentence. This lets learns who master grammar become better writers if they so incline.
