Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit was about past tenses. It was kind of confusing because some of the questions seemed to be complicated to know which group it should go into; past simple, past perfect, past continuous, or past perfect continuous because they can seem similar at some times. Using the meaning behind the catagory with the affirmative form made it easiest to understand.I have learnt from this unit great points. First, I have learnt about the four basic skills in a language; the receptive and productive skills. Especially, the focus was on the receptive skills; listening and reading, and the reasons for them, how to read and listen, the problems with listening and reading, and the outline of a typical receptive skills lesson.
