The content in this unit covered all of the past tenses and their various forms, simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. This unit was a little easier than the present tenses, and could be seen as easier to teach students. I'm going to have to find easy and simple ways in which to explain how each tense works and the different usages.This chapter covers grammar and the functions of language and within each stage to study, engage, activate as it suits a English language learner. The meaning and usage of grammar are the key components with English language learners. Any sort of debate, play, or general verbal interaction from student to student would be best practices for this general lesson.
