Greg took the 120-hour online TESOL course with ITTT to improve his teaching abilities. In his TESOL review video, Greg introduces us to some of his English students from all over Latin America and shows us some of the resources he is using in his lessons. Greg and his students seem very happy to be teaching and learning English together.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
In this unit I was able to review the basic parts of speech and what each one means including, nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, articles, gerunds etc.. This will greatly help me to explain to my students how the English language works and how its put together. Its good to be able to speak a language but also important to be able to explain it.This unit focuses on the productive skills of speaking and writing, which along with reading and listening are collectively known as integrated skills. It goes over the differences between accuracy and fluency along with how to teach each in the classroom. Writing is also covered highlighting handwriting, spelling, and punctuation as things to concentrate on.
