Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
THIS UNIT,JUST LIKE THE OTHER UNITS TALKS ABOUT MODALS,PHRASAL, VERBS AND PASSIVE VOICE,WHICH ELABORATES HOW WE CAN IDENTIFY THE PASSIVE AND ACTIVE VOICE. IT ALSO TALK ABOUT THE 3 CATEGORIES OF CLAUSES AND WHEN THEY ARE USED.WE ALSO LOOKED AT THE TENSE AND THE PASSIVE FORMATION.WE HAD ALSO COVERED THE USES OF THE MODALS TO EXPRESS A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT IDEASI thought this unit was very interesting and informative in terms of the methodologies used in teaching a second language. Some of them I had never seen before. Another thing I thought was very helpful was the section on ideas for activities for each stage of the lesson. Even though I already knew many of them, it´s definitely very helpful for new teachers.
