In this TEFL review video, Sabrina tells us how she found the videos to be a very useful part of the course as she considers herself to be a visual learner and the videos made it easier for her to absorb the necessary information. Now she has completed the course, Sabrina plans to volunteer at a local ESL school to gain practical experience.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This unit was a nice final lesson for the course and pointed out to me, a first-time teacher, how to identify and plan for various special circumstances. Putting students into pairs will be a big help in various situations – with differing levels, in larger classes, and with reluctant students. I’ll be sure to utilize these strategies in the future. It is important to have tests for students, they will give teachers a more accurate measure for students level, progress etc. The examples are very useful, these can always used in the classes. It is good to have an understanding of different examination systems in the world, if students are interested in more details, I can guide them to the right direction.
