This unit covered ways to prepare lesson plans and factors to bear in mind when planning individual lessons and a course of multiple lessons. I learned some important questions to ask myself both during lesson planning and upon completion of a lesson. I found the sample lesson and self-assessment worksheets helpful templates for devising my own lesson plans.I appreciated the way this class was broken down. Each category had great reminders and direction. I like the point to use student names after you ask the question instead of before you ask the question. That is a great way to keep the students engaged for the entire class. The section on giving clear and easy to understand instruction was also very helpful.
