This course has been very developmental in my advancement as and esl teacher. The difference in level of my own personal knowledge of teaching has grown tremendously since I have completed my first year of esl Teaching. I wish that I would have taken this course before my first year of teaching in Korea. I have learned so many valuable assets through ITTT's 120 hour tefl certification course that I will undoubtedly implement into my teaching, lesson plans, and overall growth as an educator. Lesson Planning is probably where I learned the most amount of information in the course. I have never had to lesson plan before but am going to be lesson planning in my new job and I am very grateful that this course had multiple extensive units that covered lesson planning. The ESA functionality is very simple to follow and I plan on implementing them in various ways (straight arrow, boomerang, and patchwork). Also, Tania, I have personally enjoyed your coaching and tutoring and samples of ideas to use in the classroom. For that, I thank you. The reviews on parts of speech, grammar, tenses, etc. have been very helpful because I haven't really thought about how I exactly use each aspect in everyday speech, reading, writing, and listening. The english language has been and always will be so "natural and easy" to me that it was great to take a step back and once again look at a sentence structure, correct grammar and tense usage, etc. I feel much better about my ability to explain all of these after getting a different perspective once again as a student of the english language. I now look at the classroom in a different light after completing the course. I feel much more confident in my abilities to conduct successful classes where the transfer of knowledge will be ultimately attained by my pupils. I thank ITTT, titc, and especially you Tania. You've been an awesome tutor and thank you so much for your help!
