I believe that knowledge can be paid forward once it has been gained by that certain individual. Throughout the units and worksheets I have covered, I learned so much more than I expected; from the tenses to lesson planning, and the importance of building rapport with the students. I think many people forget the essence of teaching and what it means to make a difference by educating the children to create a better future. Whatever the reason may be for teaching english to foreigners, we must remember that we have a responsibility as teachers. Psychologists always debate whether a person evolves through nature or nurture, and I can proudly say that I have been nurtured with knowledge for me to pass onto others. I will continue to review the units, create better lesson plans, and teach students with integrity.
