In this unit I learned about proper classroom management. I learned about the proper use of eye contact in the classroom. Proper use of gestures was also mentioned. The teacher's position in the class and use of voice was also discussed. Grouping of students in the most efficient arrangement was also outlined. Appropriate teacher and student talk time was discussed as well as proper methods of instruction. Classroom rapport and maintaining discipline was also elaborated on.
