This unit was a refreshing reminder of what to do before a lesson is taught. As a teacher I tend to stick to what I know. Going through the mechanics of a classroom is a useful tool that I can use on a daily bases to make sure that i have through trhough an activity. I found the checking understanding ofinstructions very useful - demonstrating and asking students to explain the instructions back to you has been very useful. I am a firm believer in lesson planning
