In this unit I have learnt what makes a good teacher and what makes a good learner. During a typical lesson a teacher will have different roles. It is important for a teacher to be able to switch between different roles. This unit also explained the main differences between adults and young learners. Adults and young learners have different expectations. Similarly students from different cultural backgrounds will have different needs. A good teacher should take into account the student's background and age.
