Knowing how to use teaching aids and the equipment is almost as important as knowing the subject well. I've had in the past problems playing cds and dvds in class. This made me lose precious teaching time. Eventually a student helped me. But it shouldn't be the student who helps the teacher with technology. This is definitely not a mistake I will make again.
