In this unit I was able to refresh my knowledge of basic english grammar. The unit covered everything from the elements of a basic sentence to gerunds and auxiliary verbs. It was helpful to see grammatical concepts explained in such great detail that even a non-native speaker would be able to understand the unit's content. This unit allowed me to get an idea as to what it would be like to present this information in lesson form. It was especially helpful to be refreshed on grammatical tools that I use regularly but without much thought such as countable nouns. I appreciated the notes within this unit of subject matter that students of different nationalities tend to find especially difficult. This lesson was a wonderful and much needed reminder of the complexities of the english language and the best ways to understand the sometimes nonsensical rules of english grammar.
