Not everything that you learn is easy and fun, sometimes it can be challenging, but if we can make it interesting it will not only make more sense but it will also affect us as a person.
Many times during the course I begun to see changes in myself, especially as a parent; helping my son on his homework assignments,
managing the kids' behavior and the use of my voice to talk to them.
My confidence went up because I realize that I can do it; after every completed unit and the tutor's feedback, I could see that the challenge was a motivation to me to continue on. My experience in this course had a connection between my daily life and education, affected how I feel about myself, as a parent and citizen.
My plans to put it in action are also to teach in a small town in southeast brazil. During a visit to the town three years ago, I could see a lot of young people interested in speaking english, not just learn the grammar. The teachers there have a lack of speaking experience.
Hopefully this will be able to happen on the following year.
It's going to be an exciting experience!
