Unit 10 was extremely helpful because I got to view all I have been learning in action. It was helpful to watch all the units put into practice because it is a clear reminder that everything I study separately will have to take place all at the same time one day in my own classroom. Seeing an example and a non-example was very helpful and proves to be a good strategy for learners to get the point. I think the teacher did a great job illustrating the ESA lesson format. I notice that the teacher in the video chose to demonstrate the sample lesson in Unit 3 which was very helpful. I also appreciated being able to see so many strategies and good teaching practices in action such as the 3x3 model for choral practice during the Study phase of instruction. The two videos were excellent instructional tools.
