I believe that I have gained much through completing this course. It has helped me to see how to better organize a lesson and curriculum. The lesson plans are great guides for how to prepare and execute a class.
The area in which I improved the most would be in gaining knowledge about english grammar. As a native speaker I know how things should be spoken or written but not the 'why' behind it. Learning about the different tenses will serve as a great tool for more advanced students.
I believe I will mostly use the experience of preparing lesson plans. Having to sit down and spend time thinking of activities will help me in the future for teaching classes. This course's required planning of fun activities that tie into a theme will be extremely useful as many of these ideas can be used for real classes.
This tefl training was a great tool and actually exceeded my expectations. It was very professionally done and the time that was put into creating this curriculum is greatly appreciated.
