Even though I speak english everyday, I don't really pay attention to the small details in the language because its second nature. It's very hard to explain all the details to someone but the course was a good way to review basic grammar structure and learn how to explain them. It also gave me a better understanding of how to teach kids and adults. The course went over practical knowledge on how to conduct a class which is very helpful. What aids to use and how to use them. Lesson planning is a lot easier and organized using the template that was given. I've been teaching in Korea and there were a lot of things in the course that could have made my first year easier. I wish I took this course before I began to teach in korea. I was learning things slowly as the year went by. The course itself is a good way to prepare people heading into this field since it teaches the fundamental tools needed for this job. I feel more confident on how to explain things and on how to plan my lessons.
